ITS BBQ SEASON!!!!!
With the weather changing and lockdown easing how do I keep hitting my goals and be sociable?
With summer holiday, weekends and bank holidays coming up there will be a time when friends and families will inevitably socialise. If you’re working hard all week in the gym, this can be detrimental to your goals. I’m going to help you with some ways to not let it be.
I would always look at a BBQ as a positive opportunity as there can be a high proportion of protein and usually a high volume of good foods to be had. It’s the food you pick that matter. On the BBQ, there is usually a selection of chicken, beef or lamb burgers, sausages, steak and skewers. Aim to pick the leanest quality (lowest percentage of fats, salts and sugars) of meat and pair it with the healthiest combination of sides/ carbohydrates (lowest Glycemic index)
